(O) Though we die a physical death, those who are in Christ will live eternally with him. Philippians 1:20-23 says, "I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;"
(A) The most important death I care to experience is the death of my flesh. I want to die to the things of the world so that I can live in and through Christ. While I'm here on earth, I want my life to exalt God here on earth as well! To worship Him, I live!
(P) Father, I thank you that you have promised me eternal life after this death. I pray that I will continue to die to the things that are not according to your will and live for those things that are. Thank you for allowing me to have an opportunity to experience eternal life. In Jesus Name, Amen!
